Concept

Sreda – Institute of design was founded for designers as well as the general public with the aim of stimulating creativity and helping young designers to develop their projects and ideas in a professional manner and make them known to the public.

Sreda covers all areas of design – fashion, industrial and graphic design, photography, illustration and architecture. The programme of the Institute is to organise events, creative workshops, seminars, lectures and all sorts of activities that bring together creative minds and help them get a better insight into the intricate relations of the design world and consequentially add that extra value to their products and productions. The institute is located in the Ajdovščina passage in the centre of Ljubljana, where different designers from Slovenia and abroad can showcase their creations in our production, or rent the space for realization of their own idea. Our vision is to create a focal point that brings together creative energies.
